In Response To: Re: Ok, ok. *PIC* (Heron Guard King)

: I have a heart,

Then why do you consider the death of a hundred thousand people in one day by an act of terrorism and war so lightly?

: and I said that i'm sorry.

Then why do you continue saying the same thing?

: I could not do
: anything to help!

You could show a little more compassion ("show" the key word).

: Unnoticed? Yeah, you are right. That's why I said that
: for Americans doesn't matter how many childres die in
: poor countries,

Lol! There are some nine hudred private American organizations alone for international charity.

: they only think about themselves.

So did Spain during the 1500s, and they weren't seperated from the rest of the world like we are. They were the world's most powerful nation too. They're not anymore, but they are still one the most arrogant and prideful (which may be an unfair generalization I appologize for, but then again, so is "Americans only think of themselves"), never off their high from their time of power.
The same is true for all nations which have risen to world power, like France and Britain. Why should America, with our history of victory and sense of power, be any different? Mb we should say the Spaniards should stop feeling pride.
The difference with America is, we actually do our military thing across the globe NOT for ourselves and for the name of Freedom, Democracy, and Peace. Far less for its own interests than God, Gold, and Glory, isn't it? I think this is where you're confusing our sense of pride and use of power for selfishness and self-centredness.

I love spain and its culture, if that's not been clear (as I'm sure it's not from the above). I appologize immediately to the Spanish if they are offended in any way by such a statement. The point I was trying to make is that we don't think about ourselves any more than everyone else, and I agree that perhaps we should take notice of foreign affairs more closely.

If the impact of yesterday still hasn't hit you, I'll relate the events of 1588 to you (please, don't be shy to ask).

: Right? Yes, it's right.

No, it's wrong. We're very concerned about the rest of the world. We're isolated from it, though, so we can only give what thought to such foreign and distant nations as we can without losing sight of our own affairs.

: So, we must cry that Americans
: die, and what about Chernobyl???

Americans cried, though not for this Communist blunder, for the people who were killed and hurt. Did the Spanish as well?

: What about that noone
: give money to repare it,

Ukraine was behind the Iron Curtain and the time, Communism totally isolating it off from the rest of the world. We couldn't have helped them if we tried.

: and Did u see ppl that lived
: there???

Not immediately because the Communists kept things very secret and restricted from the public eye, especially a distaster like that on their hands.

: Did u saw this poor ppl, and they died in
: Russia, because in Winter it was so cold and noone
: gave them homes where they could live.

Yup, that's why Communist sucks. The only place it works remotely well is China, and even there the freedoms are becoming American/democratic in nature.

: Yeah, I'm sure that I didn't feel the same as Archer!!! I
: thought poor american ppl that died there, and Archer
: thought:Wow, its terrible, Tween towers is destroyed
: and I never climb it. It's horrible.

God…you are horribly cowardly if you think that of me. I could curse you out and flame you and call you a jerk and this and that, but I will not sink to your level.

: That what he wrote me when I spoke with him in b.net.
: Hmm, great feelings!!!

No, that was what I was talking about with my friend, in the middle of a phrase when you PMed me.

Oh! And let's not forget, HGK, what YOU asked me about as soon as *you* got on: "Do you know when Asylum Night is?" was the first thing you said after "hi." I was appalled and asked, perhaps unwittingly considering that the Spanish would feel they were impacted as well by this act against the free world, if he was seriously asking that a time like this.
I was harsh with him, naturally, as were others. He came here to the Asylum two minutes later to reply to my post and admonish me.

: Than, one day I post here my thoughts about mythworld,
: and he said me that I must go.

You never did understand that, did you?

: WHY? because I must go
: here ONLY for discuss about myth not about.... :

No, naturally not.

: So,
: this is why I post this message. He thinks that he is
: forum owner or mb King of the world, i don't know.

You are trying to insult every one of those dead people just to get back at me? I feel like saying *gotohell*…

: Believe me LR, i'm really sorry what happened,

You haven't shown any compassion at all, you inhuman…!

: but I
: wanted only say him that who is here that say me that
: I can not post about nothing more that mythstory here,
: and he can post about Acts of Wars.

As usual, you don't know what you're talking about.

: If I will need
: news company I will call him, but people have
: newspaper, TV and internet to see what happened.

I was about to write a response to myself, as I had planned, to express my emotions after the statistics, but I was forced first to defend my right to do so.
