Re: a true horror

I was on the very roof of one of the towers during the summer. It was windy, and there was another platform that the public wasn't allowed onto, but for all intents and purposes, I got to the top.
It's horrible to think that now it's gone, the very building I was on top of, the same place where business people spent most of their daily lives.
On the way back from early dismissal yesterday I could see the giant plume of greyish smoke rising from the horizon. And as we type, living people are trapped inside.
This is a tragedy and others will happen in other places in the world. Because this one was so close, I could relate a little more. However, the people that died in the buildings and planes are no more important than the starving people in war torn countries. We have to remember that.
