In Response To: Definition of Undeath. (zeph)

: The primary problem with the discussion of undeath is the
: Defention of undeath.

Agreed, and we have indeed found a perfect definition of undeath, via Forrest.

: Now I believe the best defenition for undeat is: "A
: being who has died and there corpse re-animated, they
: retain no thoughts of there original owner. They lack
: freedom of thought"

That theory has nothing supporting it and contradicts what we are told.

: now this excludes Shades and Myrms.

Right, so "if the world is how I say it is, it's like this, and I am right." You can't invent laws just to prove your opinion.

: Clearly to resurect a Shade is a much more powerful
: spell.
: For they retain there memories, powers and freedom of
: thought."

: the defention that we can best use on this is
: "Shade: an archmage who died an there body is
: resurected and they retain there soul and powers and
: freesom of speech."

Lol, we already have better definitions and descriptions of Shades which contradict this. Best use? Hardly.

: And Myrms, They are not dead.

This is based on nothing.

: Nor techinically they do
: not act as if alive as the scientific defenition goes.

Which is that?

: they are in a sort of pseudo life.

Again, this is just a simple opinion without an iota of evidence behind it and contradictory to ingame evidence.

: There bodies no longer function and thus slowly rot. But
: there bodies act as a container for there souls. There
: souls control the movement of there 'container' by
: magic and not through muscles. They are used to moving
: in a life like way and thus still do. a journeymans
: Roots only free there souls from there container.

I hope you realize that the exclusion of shades and myrms from "undeath" was merely to add the term "unlife" to distinguish those conscious and those zombie. You're defending it like it actually meant something more than that, and it didn't.

I highly suggest you reevaluate your opinion to see if it's even worth defending. After that, see how your supporting information is…non-existant, unless it is just supported by your opinions (and therefore unsupported). What is your reason at all for holding onto this belief so futilely?
