And as for people saying that the fact that there are no warlocks after D dies is because D is alive and with them are just refusing to see the truth, there are no Warlocks because they hold no love for the armies of Alric and without D there they feel no obligation to serve him, they just go back to thier little happy-wappy magic school and continue searching for ultimate truth.
