Thats what i thought too. Though maybe he was a Zerk and lost the Surname when he became an Avatara. This dosen't sound too crazy since we know that Myrms could be Mages too eg Ravanna

Perhaps. But most of the Warriors and Peasents and Humans all have Medieval names like Mauris and Simone etc.
