That's an exageration of what I said, but relatively close; for instance, "sanctioned by Bungie" includes Myth III because MJ has the rights that Bungie gave it, a kind of preemptive sanctioning.
In any case, GURPS conflicts with the reality of the situation, so I think it wise to ignore GURPS in this case.
