In Response To: Alric, The Deceiver, and Brigands; O MY! *PIC* (Archer »–)›)

: I have found a couple interesting notes on some things
: we’ve talked about in the past.

: First, let’s bring back for a moment that discussion on
: Alric and The Deceiver: From Myth II–“Through the
: Ermine”: The King has sent word to Twelve Motion
: Jeweled Skull , a Journeyman who served under him
: during his campaigns east of the Cloudspine , in hopes
: that he has some knowledge of what became of The
: Deceiver after Balor's destruction.

: Umm? Alric’s eastern army was decimated when The Deceiver
: captured Alric. What’s going on here? How is it that
: Twelve Motion managed to survive this, among all the
: other strange things that happened after Alric was
: captured?

: We reviewed before how incredibly odd it was that Alric
: thought, “Hey, let’s get The Deceiver…now, who would
: know about that…mb Twelve Motion?” Twelve Motion: “Now
: that you mention it, I happen to know for a fact that
: The Deceiver didn’t die and just fell into a river!”
: This is a very preculiar scenario. One would think
: that Alric would hunt down Dec and capture him rather
: than just…not do anything! It’s so strange…

: How is it that Alric and Twelve Motion just pulled this
: out of their proverbial asses? How did Twelve Motion
: not die when everyone else from Alric’s eastern army
: was killed? How did Twelve Motion escape, involving
: something we’ve never heard of, just the same as Alric
: was miraculously rescued? These three have a deep
: connection here.

Hmm, yeah it's something strange.

: And how the hell did Twelve Motion know exactly the
: words to say over The Deceiver to revive him? Isn’t
: that sort of thing a secret spell that every archmage
: will tend to keep to himself?
: How did they know to use the septre?? Wouldn’t they try
: to heal him through conventional means?

I think that Twelve Motion was old Heron Guard, that served Connacht and Myrdred, and he was so old that he was like avatara(he knew alot, but fought not so good). He knew alot, mb he was Myrdred's student during the Wolf Age?

: It could be they had a deal…but that only accounts for
: Alric and The Deceiver, not for how Twelve Motion fits
: into the picture…unless Dec’s death/coma was faked, or
: set up, so Twelve Motion could come back sixty years
: later and revive The Deceiver…but why?

: It could also be that The Deceiver bound Alric and Twelve
: Motion to his will, Dec having the whole thing set
: up…but mb not his death, near Silvermines.

: Now, onto the the Brigands!

: We know for a fact how Bungie was originally going to
: replace Warriors with Brigands in Myth II. Luckily,
: screaming and hollering from we fans changed all that.
: However, there is still all sorts of tell-tail
: evidence it, besides in the tags.

: In “Gate of Storms”, for instance, there are Brigands who
: are defending Alric in Madrigal, at the gates, as
: guards, etcetera. Why on Earth would Alric use
: Brigands as any kind of military defense? Well, the
: cutscenes were made by Anime before Bungie released
: anything about the Brigands replacing Warriors to the
: public. So, they already had their cutscenes, and it
: would have been too hard, I guess, for them to change
: the ones with Brigands to Warriors. This is the most
: logical conclusion for why there are Brigands in the
: place of Warriors.

: The original plan for Myth II seems to have been
: Brigands, or whatever they’d be called, on both sides,
: because there is a collection for a “Light Brigand”
: and a “Dark Brigand” in Fear. There is nothing
: reflected in their appearance to corroborate this, and
: the Light Brigand is actually much darker in color,
: which is the the kind we’re associated with. The Dark
: Brigands are a light brown color. So, what are we
: missing? It seems that there were going to be Light
: Brigands on our side and Dark Brigands on the evil
: side…but now just the Light Brigands are on the Dark
: side…huh.

: Even stranger: The cutscene for “Into the Breach” has
: Warriors defending the Baron’s Fortress! Lol! Perhaps
: Bungie had these two placed in the opposite manner,
: originally, enemy Brigands only able to afford the
: older Warrior uniforms and armor… Who knows, but it’s
: funny how these things came about.

: And btw, Forrest, the “Gate of Storms” section for the
: Field Guide entry isn’t working…and there isn’t any
: screenshot of the cutscene.
