Get the newest version of MacsBug from Apple's website, as older versions don't work on the new OSes. From then on, it's quite simple: once the tool launches, only use it to look around, and never save anything you've changed. In my experience, trying to use them for actual editing screws everything up.
Oh, and since they are technically illegal (since they were leaked), you didn't hear anything about it from me, if anyone asks. :P
