: Hrm... only possible problem is that 8 Eastern is 5
: Pacific, and we have a lot of west-coasters here.
: Actually, I think most of the old-school people are
: west-coast, such as Sili and I. But it's the weekend,
: I suppose some people can make late afternoon for
: Asylum Night. At least we're not having to figure in
: Australian time-zones this time around...
Oh, well, then we can change it to…damn. Hell, I don't know. 8:30–›9:00 starting time? ::shrugs::
: Also, a note: It's Asylum Night, not Asylumite Nite. But
: you did just give me a cool idea... all the old-school
: Asylumers who have moved on are official known as
: Asylumni (like 'alumni', but with an 'sy', and hence
: pronounced "As-ah-LUM-Nai", instead of
: "Uhss-AI-lum-nai").
Ah well, I was just trying something…I had no idea of the offical history the Asylum Night had, and I wanted to have a play on words, verbally and visually, with the archaic of "night", being "nite". Actually, "Asylum Night" sounds a lot like "Asylumite" so it works better with its ring to it.
And cool about the "ä-sI-läm-nE".
