On a personal note,(i.e. I'm glad if you feel differently so discussion on the Asylum is interesting) I much prefer theorising about the unknown aspects of Myth and the origins of Bungie's idead for the game since there is an endless possibility for speculation and for others to come up with great theories. I'm only really interested in looking at the things we know if they have a meaning and I can compare them with events in our history and mythology, i.e. the fact that Aric (supposedly) broke the cycle, and if they link to other such events. I'm not particularly bothered about wether Soulblighter had a binding ability or the occurences of shades (unless there was a certain number of them which was the same as some other group in mythology).
Basically, I want to learn about the unknown and use what we already know to help us without belabouring it to the point where it becomes a bore (not that that will ever happen.)

I agree, but just don't tell us it's just a game when we post a great idea about Myth and the origins of it's world cause we don't want to hear that, as demonstrated by "Señor Archer". hehe. And then we'll tell you how we feel and another impossible argument will escalate, which I hope will not be the case after this post. Please, no one take this too personally HGK or anyone affected by this, coz it's directed generally at everyone so the Asylum can be a coherent, intriguing, exciting and great place to be. This is why I posted the set of mission objectives for all of us Asylumites.
By the way, I saw somewhere there used to be an "Asylum Nite" on B.net. I'd like this too happen again since It'd be cool to play the game against you guys as well as having discussions. Just a thought.
