This may not have as much to do with Soulbligher as with TFL.

Although we do not see many in the game, it is safe to assume that the Dark used a great many living troops during the Great War. I have a difficult time beleaveing that all of them were bound to one Fallen Lord or another, and even more beleaveing that many would turn on their homes and family after what happend to the Cath'Bruig (who by Myth2 are probably all but exstinct) and the great citys of the west.

We (or most of the old timers I think) agreed long ago that Balor kept much of the pesentry alive after the conquest of the Provence. Why could he not just sweep up alot of able men and tell them, "fight or we will kill all of you kin and reanimate them into unholy flesh puppets."?

Now, many of these units (if they did infact exist) probaby would have switched sides after the Wests apparent liberaton at the end of the 17th year. But the Decever had time to bind his troops because he was safe on the other side of the cloudspine after destroying the eastern army, which is why he had so many living troops to toss at us on "Shadow of the Mountan".

How bout it?
