: Well, this is actually rather reasonable to assume. Since
: the Deceiver was able to bind hundreds, supposedly,
: under his power during the Great War ("Shadow of
: the Mountain"). Myrdred's powers in Myth II seem
: significantly lessened, as it takes all his energy for
: an extended period of time to bind only a single
: person. Why is he so weak anyway?
: My guess is that he, just like Soulblighter and the other
: Fallen, got their power from Balor, the Leveler.
: Without the magic of the Leveler driving them, the
: Fallen must have been weakened.
I agree comepletely with the above.
: It's also reasonable to believe that Soulblighter may
: possess the Binding Dream, as well as others, and use
: it as he desires. However, we must remember that the
: Dark humans were merely drawn to the Dark by
: Soulblighter. It wasn't difficult to turn them, it
: seems from the flavors, as they were already weak in
: the mind, suceptable to Soulblighter's influence once
: he came.
The flavors and the manuals tell us they are hired and agree willingly, but there are *at least* a few who are bound like this. We cannot deny what happened in that pregame; that man was bound.
