: It is entirely possible that Soulblighter has access to
: the same Binding Dream Myrdred had... we know he does
: something that has the very same, exact effect: we all
: remember how Cruniac 'broke the enchantment that bound

: It appears to be the Binding Dream at work their; if
: Myrdred used it during TFL to bind Legionairres, why
: wouldn't Soulblighter use it to bind guards for the
: Baron in addition to the normal thugs and hired
: losers?
: Or perhaps it is a lesser spell. Brand new debate for ya
: ;D
Well, this is actually rather reasonable to assume. Since the Deceiver was able to bind hundreds, supposedly, under his power during the Great War ("Shadow of the Mountain"). Myrdred's powers in Myth II seem significantly lessened, as it takes all his energy for an extended period of time to bind only a single person. Why is he so weak anyway?
My guess is that he, just like Soulblighter and the other Fallen, got their power from Balor, the Leveler. Without the magic of the Leveler driving them, the Fallen must have been weakened.
It's also reasonable to believe that Soulblighter may possess the Binding Dream, as well as others, and use it as he desires. However, we must remember that the Dark humans were merely drawn to the Dark by Soulblighter. It wasn't difficult to turn them, it seems from the flavors, as they were already weak in the mind, suceptable to Soulblighter's influence once he came.
