The Forest Giants "helped contain the fury of Balor for four years", "Forest Heart" journal entry Myth: TFL. They actually joined the fight the same year when Madrigal stood up to The Fallen Lords.

According to the journal entry for "Sons of Stoneheim" the dwarves were "closer to their occupied homelands than any of their race has been in fifty years." Now this is the exact same year that Muirthemne fell to Balor. It doesn't say that is when the two dwarven cities fell, but is it just a coincidence...?
