: How is that an insult? If you're going by the theory that
: the brain, heart and liver, when eaten, will confer
: opon the eater the slain individual's intelligence,
: strength and courage respectively, to eat their bodies
: in this way is anything but an insult: it is an
: honour! By eating them, you are effectively saying
: "Though I have defeated and slain this opponent,
: he was a worthy fighter, strong, brave and cunning. So
: much so that I want his qualities in these fields for
: myself."
I quote Sili on this one:
"Ceremonial cannibalism. Absorbing the strength of their enemies, or illustrating that the lesser races are fit for nothing except to be consumed and used by the Trow. "
Just as Sili, I meant one or the other, not both. It's either insult or to gain strength.
