: items. This would require them to be quite skilled in
: the arts of building things. They strike me as sort of
: the Masonic Lodges of london mixed with some strong
: artifact making sk33lz.

I like this actually. Much wisdom, power and secret
knowledge concealed behind a humble and innocuous appearance.
That's how they stayed untouched for so long - they didn't
look powerful or threatening, and it probably took Connacht
quite some time to twig that they and the Spider Cult were
connected.
It suits dwarves in general too. After all, they're puny
little beings, who nonetheless pack a punch that belies their
appearance. Hmm.
