: According to Tales, the Tain is also an access point onto
: the Spider-world. And it contains barriers and
: lightning towers which are most likely intended to
: protect certain areas from hostile creatures. This
: indicates that the Spider-Cult spent some time in the
: Tain themselves, most likely fleeing there when
: Connacht attacked their shrines. So yes, it seems to
: have had a dual purpose.

Spider cult? What is that? IS it a cult of spiders, or humanoids who worship spiders?
Perhaps the towers were built to protect them when the krids were imprisoned in the tain?
