to me that clearly states "he was experimenting with reanimation and this was the result."
i don't know, in my eyes the former quote cannot be interpreted any other way, it's so clear cut to me.
but perhaps you're right and I'm right: Soulblighter experimented with something that Did exist during the Wolf Age and came out with Soulless that we see in TFL and M2. so technically speaking he was the First to make Soulless but there was some kind of weak predecessor before them upon which they were based.
maybe that can explain why souls appear in MWA. If it doesn't, we gonna have to think of something! cuz Myth 3 is canon even if Bungie isn't making it. we better think of something :P
or perhaps they just explain it in MWA, which would be much much bettR.
