The Binding Dream isnt any ordinary spell it is a dream and we all know that dreams are probably some of the most powerful forms of sorcery.When the Deceiver corrupted all of those soldiers in the level"Shadow of the Mountain" Journeymen were amongst them although we didnt see them in the game itself we could easily spot them in the cutscene.Sure Heron Gaurds are some of the most skilled warriors in the myth world but they have their weaknesses.Oh and i also believe that the binding dream can convert many enemies at a time though we dont get that privledge in-game since the levels would have been insanely easy.
