I agree with the whole "thrall puppet concept" however from what i know of the wight flavor texts they did experience horrible pain even in unlife.And in my opinion only a creature with an actual soul can experience pain.this suggests that wights arent puppets since puppets cant suffer since they dont have a soul and it might also mean that they didnt originate from the dream of unlife which seems only to be used to animate thrall and perhaps soulless.
