Not putting Alric over SB is completely rediculous. Soulblighter was at the HEIGHT of his magical abilities during the events of Myth 2 and even his martial skills seem to have increased. Yet Alric, who probably has still not reached his full potential, still handily defeats him.

Oh and I think that Mazzarin is a big IF as, though said flavour text does hint that the was quite powerful, our only source of him being considered the most powerful sorcerer EVER is GURPS. Personally I strongly doubt he can really compare to Leverlers and Heroes.
