Sorta. The wolf age was the last age the Mythworld was in. It extended up until the end of the great war and was then replaced by the sword age. So therefor it was still technically the wolf age when Balor was raging around

Who said the wolf age was only 110 years ago. remember that since the leveller comes once every 1000 years that the Wolf age is around that old when TFL takes place. Since Myrdred was with Connacht when he defeated Moagim Reborn and started the Wolf Age (we know this for a fact I believe) Myrdred is over 1000 years old. The watcher was also around back then so their rivalries do go back just that far.
Plus I believe that that quote was relating directly to the Deciever, after all he and the watcher were the only (AFAWK) rivals in the fallen.
