Of course there is in all probablility quite a few more world knots. For all we know there might have been one outside.

It might not have been an error, they might not have told us about it.

: that there was a World Knot near Balor fortress, than
: he went ALONE from place where legion was to find a

: where legion was). So, why they didn't acompany him?

Because he was going for a surprise attack. A single avatara is harder to spot than a hundred men marching towards your castle. By the time Alric had brought the troops in it was too late for Balor to react to it.
