: Certainly, but he was clearly planning to confront
: Soulblighter once he'd finished up in the Tain. He
: wouldn't want to waste the stored power on Krids and
: the Summoner; he'd want to save it for the *really*
: tough guy he was about to face off with.
Mb, mb not, we don't know.
: Oh, without a doubt. Any mage down to a Fetch or Warlock
: must have at least a few more spells than what we see,
: and Archmages doubtless have scores. And it's
: certainly possible that The Deceiver's
: lightning-throwing is one of these spells. But since,
: as far as we've seen, he only did this shortly after
: being continuously zapped with lightning while
: carrying an artifact which protected him, it's *also*
: possible that the artifact absorbed the electricity
: and that he was able to discharge it at Damas. He
: didn't use it against Shiver, remember, even though
: it'd probably be a bit safer than having to walk right
: up to her and zap her. In fact, I *know* it'd be
: safer, because that's how he got killed (or at least
: appeared to). ;-)
Deceiver don't use this spell, because Shiver could kill him very easy. She could use her Tremor Dream spell and kill him. AND I don't think that Deceiver knew that when she die she would explode, thats why he used his froze attack- more safety.
