Well as long as this explenation may be it's easier if u take myth2 texts. Just look at "In this man, Soulblighter truly found his match". And that means they were quite matched. And i think thats it. When i battled soulblighter with alric it was so close i tought alric would die. Second BOTH were wearing MAGICAL WEAPONS. So this part is over. I think Alric is at least as a strong spellcaster as SB so this is also over. THIS WASN'T A MATCH OF MAGIC OR STRENGHT. THIS WAS A MATCH OF TACTICS. As before Alric had him. I think he had him from the time he pushed Shiver down. The only thing that would stopped him and i think SB knew it was the destruction of the Lesotho Dam. Thats why big D got so agitated.
