: Well, you can't expect GURPS to custom-make its books and
: take account of exactly how many units happened to die
: when you played the game.
: Besides, unit death in Myth is always iffy. Many times
: (from Relic to The Summoner, for example) a small
: group of units can be almost wiped out, and then
: magically appear at full strength in the next level. I
: suppose the most reasonable explanation story-wise is
: that most of those units were merely grievously
: wounded, and treated between levels. Even that's not
: possible between Relic and The Summoner, but maybe The
: Deceiver gave them a quick magical heal in the midst
: of of teleporting them.
Well i don't want to spoil your toughts but i disagree. The answer is, at least i think, that the makers of myth, myth2 never tought "story-wise" on theese things. They just made levels and put soldiers in them. There should be no question as to "how come i have all nine again?" coz it just is that way becourse the game would be very hard. I think there is no "story-wise" explanation of this. But thats just my opinion.
