Well, you can't expect GURPS to custom-make its books and take account of exactly how many units happened to die when you played the game.
Besides, unit death in Myth is always iffy. Many times (from Relic to The Summoner, for example) a small group of units can be almost wiped out, and then magically appear at full strength in the next level. I suppose the most reasonable explanation story-wise is that most of those units were merely grievously wounded, and treated between levels. Even that's not possible between Relic and The Summoner, but maybe The Deceiver gave them a quick magical heal in the midst of of teleporting them.
