To get WW2 gold, this is what you must do: First, go dig out your old Myth: TFL CD. If you never bought Myth1, go buy it. Then, go play through the ENTIRE SOLO CAMPAIGN. This is VERY IMPORTANT. Then, go dig out your Myth2 CD and repeat the above procedure. Along the way, click on each unit and read the paragraph that appears in your status bar. As you do all this, note how the Myth games have a very complex, and well-written storyline. Then, come back to this site. Read all the other posts on this forum. Read everything in "Legends and Lore." Wonder out loud how you could have possibly mistaken this forum as a forum for asking questions about maps rather than a forum about aforementioned storyline, as it truly is. After you have done all this, go to tbk.balinsbar.com and get WW2 gold from there.
