In Response To: Re: Ok, now Fallen. (Heron Guard King)

: How do you know this? In Deceiver Description, Glossary,
: Myth II Manual says:("One of the Fallen Lords who
: served Balor during the Great War. His rivalry with
: the other Fallen Lords led to his downfall. He
: disappeared after the Watcher decimated his army at
: Seven Gates." )
: So, he disappeared and we don't know anything about
: him!!!

You might want to go back and look at the more recent Asylum threads--we've been discussing these very facts. Yes, the manual and GURPS say that he disappeared. But the "Sons of Myrgard" TFL journal mentions The Deceiver crossing into the Province after the Seven Gates battle. And of course there's all that stuff about him getting frozen that we learn in Myth II, and which (as Alric says), occurs *after* Balor's death.

The obvious conclusion is that after Seven Gates he recuperated, regrouped, and came back into the war. But for some reason--whether it be that most of the witnesses died fast or that, as I suggested, he mentally influenced them--these later actions were overlooked or forgotten by most of the people of the Province.

: I don't said that they killed him, I only said that they
: hold him at Dire Marsh. And I wanted you say you that
: to kill Balor they destroyed a lot of enemies, that's
: because they need to kill him more than 10 years(you
: post this, that they needed more than 10 years to kill
: Balor).

But my point is that they *didn't* destroy that many enemies. They left huge numbers of Balor's forces alive, both near his fortress and in the Province. Also, remember that originally the Light had been far more powerful, backed by the Dwarven cities and the Cath Bruig Empire. The Light army facing Soulblighter was much smaller and weaker.

: TWO of four were alive. We don't know who were the other
: two, so we can't say that they were alive. MB legion
: kill them too!!! So, two of four were alive.

If they'd been killed, the Journal writer would certainly have thought that worth writing down--he periodically brings us up to date on how many Avatara were left, after all. And the Myth II manual says that "most of the Fallen Lords were hunted down and destroyed" after Balor's death. "Most" out of six Lords would have to be at least three...The Deceiver and the two unnamed ones. So all four were alive and free when Balor died.
