However, we've never actually seen any Oghres using magic--just lugging blocks around and getting mass-decapitated. They don't seem very strong in the guile department to me, especially after picking a fight with the Trow. :-)

Actually, Giants are merely resistant to confuse, not fully immune. Trow are normally affected by it.
