: I always figured that too; specifically, the Stair of
: Grief. There's lots of mentions of zerks there.
: "A berserk at the Stair of Grief, having been
: told...", and "at the Stair of Grief our
: swords got so dull...", and probably others I
: can't think of.

That's just TurgeÔs of the Burning Steel or some berserk who happened to be at the Stair of Grief when they kicked The Deceiver's ass or something like that. Few races or types of soldiers seem to fight more wars near their homelands than anywhere else.

Speaking of berserks, are Myrmidons former berserks or berserks-like creatures?

"Desirous of power and immortality, the warrior race of the Myrmidons left their northern kin to join Balor and the Fallen Lords, and so they became known as The Kithless.

Myrmidon flavor text, Myth: TFL"

A northern kin, eh? How many fierce warrior races from the Northern Lands could there be?
