Unfortunately, if you take a look at the Tales comic you can see that Oghres are far from being a match for even an unarmed Trow. They're a little bigger and tougher than people, but they're not going up against ironclads.

I don't think Light über-units are that necessary in Myth III, though; from what we've seen, it already has a large number of archmages and world-class warriors like Connacht, Damas and (probably) Shiver and The Deceiver.
