I would say they inhabit a range of territory that stretched from the low coves in the northern cloudspine to the foot hills bordering the ermine.
Again, highland is a relative term. I mean, someone living in Kansas would think the areas around Knoxville as highlands, whereas I would think of highlands as the slopes of the Smokey's and the Blueridge as highlands.
They did have farmlands, so if I where to imagine the Northman homeland I would think of my own area.
That's all I can think of at the moment.
