Me and Cap think that Soulblighter is better than Balor in one on one combat under normal conditions.(No use of magic weapons).This report is from our experiance in MYTH TFL & 2.
But if we totally compere them,Balor is much better.
The ability to be a magician and a fearsome warrior makes Balor invincible.Althought I really wanted to see Balor in action!(exept the level last battle,we never see him fight)
What do you believe about Balor's swordplay ability/techique?
*Still I agree that Balor was the best choice to be the Leveler and Soulblighter was his greater general.
