: 'cause in TFL when you've made the diversion at
: Comfort, the garrison in Madrigal throw open
: the Gate of Storms and attack Shiver head-on.
: This clearly implies an actual gate, hence an
: actual wall. This'd make sense as there's no
: way a town can defend itself under siege without
: a wall.
: You don't see a wall (or a gate) in Gate of Storms
: because we're well inside the town approaching the
: harbour. The level's cutscene shows Alric being
: smuggled out of his palace as the myrkridia arrive,
: hence it seems that the main town & defences of
: Madrigal are separate from the harbour, which Alric's
: trying to get to.
: Why did they call this level Gate of Storms then?
: Beats me.
: cheers,
: Iron
In the level we are told by some reinforcments that the GATE OF STORMS HAS FALLEN.Possibly because the myrkridia crashed through it and are levelling madrigal due to its destruction. That would explain why we see the enemy here at all!So that would explain why the level is called the way it is.
