I said it in my first message(he looks like Rabican or zerk). I mean that he wouldn't wear armor and he would look like very powefull warrior(Rabican).

Okay, to kill Balor we need:
1- one eblis stone that paralyz him.
2- 3 zerks
to kill SB, we need:
1- help of Myrdred(his lightning) to capture one of his crows.
2- Alric use all powers of Balmung-only to damage SB(and Balmung was one of the powerest artifacts).
3- Dream that Alric use to throw hiw into lava.

No, because he was very easy to kill. In level "Last Battle we need 3 zerks to kill him while he can't attack you. If Alric could kill his army and caught him with his army, I am sure that 50 zerks could kill him very easy.

I said that he could send 300.000 to shiver to take Madrigal or to SB to destroy light army, or if he was the most powefull mage in myth he could go with his army and destroy all that he see, like SB in Myth II.

So, he was very powefull thanks his sword and armor, we can see it in level "last Battle" that 3 zerks can kill him very fast. Now image him without his sword and his armor, we would like Thrall- very ease to kill.

Balmung was very powerfull sword, and one of the powerest of artifacts in myth.
