: now one would suspect that the most salient victory of
: the dark in the Wind age would be the killing of the
: Savior. Unless this tells us of the killing of the
: Savior. Therefore Mazzarin is the Savior of the Wind
: Age.
The Wind Age opened with the death of a Savior, but *during* the Wind Age the Dark's greatest victory was the death of Mazzarin.
(Of course, that TFL flavor is slightly outdated since it keeps the old definition of "Avatara" as "any good archmage." Perhaps Mazzarin *was* a Savior in that prerelease storyline.)
