The Gate of Storms was the Gate of Madrigal, presumably the main one, as it is both used by the Legion to make their main frontal assault on Shiver (and you'd need a big gate for a force that size), and is also the route of attack by Shiver when she and her Myrkrydia burn Madrigal to the ground in Myth2.
