Actually, to fit the pattern best, Alric should die soon, the age should be become Dark, and then in 3481 A.E. Balor Reborn will come and attack the world simultaneously with a new Savior (A-spirit, Alric reincarnated)'s arrival. The Savior would rid the world of the Darkness, kick Balor Reborn's ass, and usher in a true age of light. THEN he would disappear, and return as the Leveller. It's basically the M3 plot but roles reversed. (Connacht is the bad guy, Moagim the good guy).
