Its rather difficult to say.There was a great explosion at the end of"Shiver" inwhich he did die along with Ravanna but during the narration of the level"Twice Born" the journal writer did say something about the deceiver possessing part of Soulblighter himself in a manner inwhich one can warrant that hes still alive.He's like the Watcher;some say hes alive while otheres say hes dead.
