: Just out of curiosity, where did the archers in Myth 3
: come from. I may be wrong on my history, but I thought
: that the archers in Myth 2 were trained by the
: Fir'bolg, and the Fir'bolg had avoided humanity up
: until that point. So did the humans manage to have
: archers of their own during the time of Connacht, and
: if so, what happened to all of them by TFL?
This starts to offer one a rather horrific vision of what happened to Connacht's archers...
We know we had them, they were in the tombs under Muirthemne...
Maybe the archers in M3 later became soulless and this accounts for why the archery skill was lost to humankind. Perhaps humans and fir'bolg had archery as a skill, but when Connacht became Balor he turned all of the human archers into Soulless, leaving no one but the Fir'Bolg with the skill of the bow? Its a crappy idea, but hey, its an idea.
