: Alric arose at the end of

: Alric, according to Orange, who was a beta tester.)

Not that I would doubt Josh in general, but I would like to know the source of this extremely obscure fact. This would be the only other name Alric has had, which seems kinda non-existant for the Light leaders of the Great War. Individuals seem to need to live for quite a long time before they're renamed. Myrdred, Damas, Ravanna and a slew of others are good examples.
By the way, has anyone thought of that Alric is called "King Alric" in journal entry for "Flight from Covenant"? Though this might support that Alric indeed is Caliban, it would be interesting to know just what kingdom he ruled. He did not seem to be any more important than any of the Nine in military matters. Rabican was the one who killed Shiver and Maeldun's forces gave The Deceiver, who could say would the most powerful Dark person after Soulblighter and Balor. All Alric ever did besides tricking Balor was kill some shade. He was clever indeed, but never overly powerful. Even if Sinis did get the shrine of Nyx collapsed on his ass, shades in general get their but kicked by even plain warriors and archers (Seven Gates).
