No idea what the amulet would do. It's not the Leveller's mantle, as Balor wears that (and I don't think it's an actual thing, but a concept, like the "armor of God" Christians say they wear). There was supposed to be a talismand which forced Mahir into corporealty, and for some reason I associate "talismand" with "pendant" or "amulet", a thing which is worn on a chain around the neck.
