: Cool. I think I've seen Skræls, then, in a map called
: Arcon (or dark waters of Arcon), this for TFL.
Yeah, there's still in there. Lots of third part maps used them. The Griffin's there too, and the Mahir even, though the latter two are even less functional than the Skrael.
: PS. How come you know so much about the history of myth?
Because I've been running Myth story sites since the early TFL days, and I'm an obsessive-compulive maniac who can't get enough of a good thing like Myth :-)
: And what is up with this "comet appearing in the
: northern sky" all the time in it?
It's a recurring theme. Comets are traditionally omens, and in Myth they signal the change of an era.
: I also remembering reading a m2 preview report were some
: b.net employee refers to those fat pigs (I can't
: remember the name) in m2 as "orches".
: This considering someone called the fir'Bolg thingys
: archer bla bla orches.
: This really isn't a very intriguing remark, so pretend it
: didn't show correctly.
The Mauls are called "Ogres" in the tags. Some people I know think that the Mauls ARE Oghres, since one of the TWA posters shows what is supposedly an Oghre, which looks somewhat similar to a Maul. I certainly hope the Mauls aren't Oghres, or at least that there's a REALLY damn good explanation for it... but then I promised to refrain from comment on M3, so I'll shut up now.
