: This is a valid thing, but mb preview your posts a lot
: more. You tend to post things that look insulting or
: like attacks, and then later rescind them, claiming
: that they were only humor. Perhaps a bit more care
: could be taken…
Well, the funny thing is, I do. I think I simply don't understand how things will be taken, not online. Can you take my word that I never mean harm or flame?
: Now THIS is where it gets stupid. You flame GURPS in 90%
: of your posts.
Funny…90% of my posts were related directly to GURPS…as it was the present topic of that time.
Anyway, that was only a mention at the very bottom, tail-end of that post. But do you see how it was related directly to what was said before? I am no indecent.
And I do not flame, ever, unless by a miscalculation of wording, never intended to be offensive, only suggestive. For instance, right now, I imagine my tone as being friendly, cooperative, conversational; never aggressive or mean.
: It is actually hard to find a post
: where you do not rage against GURPS, even when it's
: not even in the equation!
This was not one of those times since it related directly to what was previously posted.
: We _all_ know that you don't
: like it. You made that clear a million times, but in
: almost every post you feel you must repeat it.
Only when I think it should be stated, yes, as in the said threads and topics.
: Your
: hate for the thing is so tremendous that you say your
: faith in MJ was revived almost solely by the fact that
: they mentioned that they weren't using it too much.
Your love for GURPS so incredible to believe it saved and created Myth III (as you say later)? Perhaps we're simply on opposite sides of the same issue, having our own oppinions. We shouldn't have the right to express them?
: If it weren't for GURPS MJ wouldn't even be here. Scott
: said as much himself.
I'd be pleased to see this documentation.
: GURPS, while it has its share of
: errors, fleshed out the past ages, allowing the grain
: of the idea for the future MJ team to use.
Actually, that information was all in the design documents (which is rumored to be long over a hundred pages long, perhaps hundreds), of which GURPS just takes bits and pieces of. Why would GURPS flesh out or create something already done in a far better form which MJ had access to? At most, it showed those not with access to those Holy Grail documents the basics of the story, which was certainly nice. Perhaps it gave some other people ideas, but Scott was right there the whole time with the story in his hand. Also note, he denounced it.
: W/o it Myth
: might have used the friggin' Halo engine!
How the hell would that happen? I'm obviously not understanding this logic…
: So please, for the love of god, try to make at least 50%
: of your posts each day not including the word GURPS,
: it would make this forum a much nicer place to be…
Have you concidered that I might equally disappreciate(coinage) the use of GURPS to so utterly prove something right when, to me, it is almost as entirely subjective as any theory, even those derived from it? As I said, you're on one side, I'm on the other. Though I usually am a Moderate-Liberal in other cases, I'd say I fit onto the Right Wing of the MythCanon Scale, whereas you yourself may be on the left. We keep eachother in check, just like our golden party system of the American Government today :-).
Lol, 'a nicer place to be'…gese, that's really harsh.
