I understand your concerns about MJ, but I don't really
share them.
When they announced MWA, they made it obvious that they'd consulted every possible source of info on the Myth story before deciding on what they'd do. They regularly read the forums and post in them, and back in the early days we often saw them here.
Sure they may make an honest mistake or two, but I really doubt they'll be anything serious. We've all seen the mistakes Bungie have made and it hasn't been off-putting.
I dunno. I think we should give them credit for the attitude they've shown, and its offensive to call them stupid when we disagree with details they haven't fully explained yet. They're the rightful owners of the story now, not Bungie and certainly not us. I'm happy to let them do the storytelling in Myth 3 and be swept along by it, then return to debate & theorise afterwards.
If I do have concerns, its that the story not be shallow and trite, but rather be captivating, have unexpaected twists & turns and have substantial depth & hidden meanings. Not too much to ask eh?
