Exactly, and the game tells—no, not in so many words—that the "Pools" are "of Iron", and "River of Blood" is exactly the same. I recognize the double meaning of pools, both solidified and liquified.
GURPS says opposite for no reason at all except to, honestly, sound smart–along those lines.
And I know GURPS too, Disc…hence my disposition for it :-).
