: 3.) Bungie's original writers didn't review it, OK it, or
: assist with it.

Yes, they did. Bungie personnel (including some higher-ups, and the primary architects of Myth's story) are listed in the GURPS credits under Illustrators, Playtesters and Additional Support. One may argue over how *much* control they had over the story as Seabolt laid it out, but they were definitely there. And Bungie has traditionally been reluctant to move their game worlds into other areas like books or movies, largely because of story purity concerns. It's reasonable to assume that they would have looked closely at this product before billing it on their own website as an official source of Mythworld information--or allowing it to be published at all.

: 4.) It's no more than the incredible story of Myth
: compacted and altered to fit into the GURPS Role
: Playing System; it's an RPG.

The story of Myth, however, was compacted and altered to fit into the Myth engine/gameplay system; it's a resourceless RTS. :-) So this in itself wouldn't make GURPS any less valid than onscreen in-level stuff. Not that you're basing your whole argument on this, but still.

You may now return to talking amongst...um...yourself. :-)
