: It descibes them as gaunt humanoids. I don't think they
: disapate when blown up. They just get blown into
: chunks. People could gather up the pieces and piece
: together what they looked like if they were so
: inclined. Where does it says that no one knows what a
: Fetch looks like under the skin?

GURPS says so explicitly in the Fetch section. The games don't, but given the "its true nature was masked by the louse-infested skin it wore" TFL flavor and the total absence of uncovered Fetch bits from any in-game scene or pre/postgame pic, I think it's strongly implied that their true shape was never seen by common man. (Balor and the Smiths of Muirthemne may have had other methods, of course.)

: If the skin gets torn, Wyrd sees them snatches their soul
: away which is the effect you see in soft death. It
: isn't electricity at all.

I was referring to non-mortal wounds. When an arrow penetrates the outer skin, you hear a standard flesh hit *plus* a little electrical crackle sound which presumably indicates a disturbance/wound in the Fetch's flesh beneath.

BTW, I think you mean Wyrd takes their whole body. If he just took their soul, they'd be definitely non-material, since they leave nothing behind but the inflated skin.
