Well, maybe, except no, absolutely not. "Connacht" is the spelling in the game, and it is his name. "Connaught" is not. The pronunciation of his name is also not "con-UKT", it is "KAWHN-awht". We go by what is clearly shown in the game, not the obscure, however interesting, references from which they came.
